Palmgradeformerly Eduysle
Palmgrade is a school management platform that handles student records, attendance, exams, results, fees and parent updates in one place — built to keep working reliably even when the internet doesn't.
It's built for primary and secondary schools across Africa, where the day still has to run when the power or the network doesn't. Every part of it is designed around that reality rather than retrofitted for it.
Palmgrade is a product of Cevatronic Systems Limited, and is published at palmgrade.com.
What it does
Each module is an area the school works in, with its own screens, records and permissions.
Student Records
Profiles, guardians and documents in one place — with classes, subjects, sessions and one-step end-of-session promotion.
Attendance
Daily register plus a gate log of who dropped off and picked up every child, and a private pickup alert to the right teacher.
Homework
Assign homework and share it with parents over a private link, then tick off who has handed theirs in, per class.
CBT Exams
Exams keep running when the network drops, and grade themselves the moment a student submits. Anti-cheat, live monitoring and a reusable question bank are built in.
Gradebook
Enter scores once. Term averages and letter grades compute themselves, per class and per subject.
Report Cards & Result Sheets
Termly and cumulative report cards compute themselves from the gradebook. Print a whole class in one go, and every card carries a QR code anyone can scan to check it is genuine.
School Fees
Set fees per class and term, issue every invoice in one go, and record what comes in — cash, transfer, or paid online by the parent. Balances and receipts keep themselves up to date.
Parent Results Portal
Parents open a private link to view and print their child's results. No account to create, no app to install.
Built into every plan
Not add-ons or upsells — these hold true across the whole platform, for every school on it.
Works offline
Install it like an app. Core screens and the exam engine keep working on a bad connection, then sync when it returns.
Role-based access
Owner, Admin and Teacher, plus custom roles like Bursar or Exams Officer — each with per-permission control.
Data isolated at the database
Each school's records are isolated from every other school by row-level security, not just behind a login screen.
App lock
Step away from a shared office computer and lock the app behind a PIN — without signing out or losing what's on screen.
Multi-user accounts
Up to five staff stay signed in on one computer and switch instantly, each behind their own PIN. No seat cap.
Global search
Ctrl+K from anywhere in the app jumps straight to any student, exam or page.
In-app notifications
A notification feed for every staff member, so what matters is on the record rather than in someone's head.
Your own web address
Send parents links on the school's own address — portal.yourschool.com rather than the product's domain — so a link is visibly from them. One DNS record, and it leaves the existing website and email alone.
Bulk import
Bring an existing student list or question set in from Excel instead of typing it all again.
Data export
Take your data out whenever you want it — CSV, JSON or Excel. Records are never held hostage.
Everything here is already live
Every module and capability on this page is in production today — nothing above is a preview, a beta or a plan. We list what Palmgrade does now rather than what it will do, because an unshipped feature on a product page is a promise, and we would rather be read on the ones already kept.

- Offline-first end to end — the exam engine and the core screens, not one feature that happens to survive a dropped connection.

More products in the works
Palmgrade is where we started applying our own product thinking at scale, and it's not where we intend to stop. We have further software products in development, aimed at the same kind of problem: real operational work that existing tools handle badly, or assume conditions that don't hold here.
We'd rather announce them when they're real than promise them now.
