Privacy Policy

This website has no contact form, no accounts, no cookies and no analytics — reading it tells us nothing about you. This policy explains the little that is processed anyway, what happens when you contact us, and the rights you have over it.

Effective date

1. Who we are

Cevatronic Systems Limited (RC 9750428), a company incorporated in Nigeria with its registered office at Trinity Mall, 79 Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja, Lagos State 101233, Nigeria, is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this policy.

You can reach us about anything on this page by email at hello@cevatronic.com, or by post at the address above.

2. What this policy covers

This policy covers www.cevatronic.com — this website and nothing else.

Palmgrade, our school management platform, is a separate product with its own privacy policy and its own data. If you are a school, member of staff, student or guardian using Palmgrade, that policy governs your data there, not this one. Data held in Palmgrade is processed under our agreement with the school concerned.

If we work together on a project, any personal data involved in that work is governed by the written agreement for it, not by this page.

3. What this website collects

Nothing that identifies you, and nothing at all through the pages themselves.

There is no contact form, no account, no login and no newsletter sign-up. The site sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser. There is no analytics, no advertising and no tracking of any kind — we do not know how many people read a given page, and we accepted that trade deliberately. Fonts are served from our own domain rather than fetched from a third party, so loading a page does not report your visit to anyone else.

There is one unavoidable exception. Like every website, ours is served by a hosting provider that keeps standard server logs so pages can be delivered and abuse can be detected. Those logs typically record:

  • the IP address the request came from
  • the page requested, and the date and time
  • the browser and operating system reported by your device
  • the page that referred you, if any

We do not use these logs to build a profile of you or to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine them with anything else. They exist so the site can be served reliably and kept secure.

4. When you contact us

Our contact page offers three channels: email, WhatsApp and telephone. When you use one of them, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your name, the address or number you contacted us from, and the contents of your message.

We use that to reply to you, to understand what you need, and — if it becomes a project — to carry out the work and keep the ordinary business records that go with it.

We do not add you to a mailing list. We do not operate one. We do not sell your details, and we do not share them with anyone for marketing.

WhatsApp is operated by Meta, and a conversation there passes through Meta's systems under Meta's own privacy policy as well as this one. If you would rather that were not the case, email or telephone us instead.

Under the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023, we rely on the following bases:

  • Legitimate interests — responding to an enquiry you sent us, and keeping our website available and secure. Our interest here is in running the business you contacted; it does not override your interest in your own data, and you can object at any time.
  • Steps prior to a contract — where your message is about work you may want us to do, processing it is a step taken at your request before entering into a contract.
  • Legal obligation — where Nigerian law requires us to keep records, such as tax and company records, we keep them for as long as the law requires.

6. How long we keep it

Correspondence is kept for as long as it is relevant to our relationship with you, and after that only for as long as we need it for the purpose it was collected or the law requires us to hold it.

You can ask us to delete correspondence at any time by emailing hello@cevatronic.com. Where we are legally required to keep a record, we will tell you so rather than quietly keeping it.

7. Who else is involved

We use a small number of service providers to run the site and our correspondence. They process data on our behalf, under their own terms:

  • Hosting — Vercel Inc. hosts this website and keeps the server logs described above.
  • Email — Zoho Corporation provides the mailbox behind hello@cevatronic.com, and therefore handles email you send us.
  • WhatsApp — Meta Platforms operates WhatsApp, if you choose to contact us that way.
  • Telephone — our mobile network operator connects calls and messages in the ordinary way.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone else except where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

8. Data leaving Nigeria

The providers above operate internationally, so your data may be stored or processed outside Nigeria — in practice, in the United States, the European Union or India depending on the provider.

Where that happens, it is covered by those providers' own contractual data protection terms. If you would prefer your correspondence with us to stay within Nigeria, telephone us instead of using email or WhatsApp.

9. Your rights

The Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 gives you rights over your personal data. You can ask us to:

  • Access — tell you what personal data of yours we hold, and give you a copy.
  • Correct — fix anything we hold about you that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete — erase your personal data, where we have no continuing need or legal obligation to keep it.
  • Restrict or object — stop or limit our processing, including objecting to anything we do on the basis of legitimate interests.
  • Port — provide the data you gave us in a commonly used, machine-readable form.
  • Withdraw consent — where we relied on your consent for something, withdraw it — which does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.

To exercise any of these, email hello@cevatronic.com. We will respond within the time the Act allows, and we will not charge you for it.

If you believe we have handled your data wrongly, we would rather hear from you first and put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Nigeria Data Protection Commission at ndpc.gov.ng.

10. How we protect it

This site is served over HTTPS, and sends security headers that stop it being framed by another site, block content-type sniffing, limit what is disclosed in referrer headers, and deny access to your camera, microphone and location.

Correspondence sits in mailboxes protected by strong, unique credentials and multi-factor authentication. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise — but nothing sensitive needs to pass through this website, because the website asks you for nothing.

11. Children

This website is aimed at organisations and the people who run them. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them here.

Where Palmgrade holds data about students, it does so under our agreement with the school responsible for them, governed by Palmgrade's own terms — not by this website's policy.

12. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. If a change materially affects how we handle your data, we will say so plainly rather than rely on a quiet edit.

13. Contacting us about this policy

Any question, request or complaint about this policy or your personal data: email hello@cevatronic.com, or write to Cevatronic Systems Limited, Trinity Mall, 79 Obafemi Awolowo Way, Ikeja, Lagos State 101233, Nigeria.
